Purpose of a PPG?

The PPG will develop an effective partnership between the practice and patients. Building honest and accurate communication with patients and the wider community about key matters.

The PPG works together with the practice/PCN to develop mutually supportive networks for patients and the practice voice in decision making, ensuring that all communities registered with the practice are represented.

Being part of a PPG provides an opportunity:

  • For patients and the PCN to meet and discuss constructive suggestions for developing and improving the services that could affect the wider practice population
  • To support Health Awareness
  • To engage with local communities to ensure the PPG is truly reflective of our population
  • Develop a PPG Newsletter
