First Contact Practitioner
Our First Contact Practitioner is an experienced Physiotherapist who is able to assess, diagnose and advise about most adult musculoskeletal conditions without the need to consult a GP, and can also refer for tests, rehabilitation or to Secondary (hospital) care where indicated. This reduces the demand for GP appointments and has been shown to improve referrals and outcomes.
